Does Your Website Need (SEO) Search Engine Optimization By: jason cattery
Does Your Website Need (SEO) Search Engine Optimization First let's start with what is search engine optimization. Search engine optimization also known as SEO Is the process of making your website search engine friendly and improving search engine ranking results and quality of traffic. Meaning - Getting your website to the top 10 spots on Google, Yahoo and all other major search engines for the keyword terms that will give you traffic you need to succeed online. Who needs search engine optimization (SEO)? Any one who owns a website and wants to increase organic traffic that is targeted by keywords searched by potential customers. Now right off the back I want to tell you that you will not see results over night. It can take anywhere from one month to three months to begin to see the great results of search engine optimization. It really depends on over two hundred factors on how you and your competitors rank but internet marketing is a must for your online business. You want to rank better! I always tell clients there are 3 parts of the SEO practices, onsite, offsite and patience. Onsite is the process of editing your website pages to make every page search engine friendly and unique from each other. If not done correctly you can be banned from search engines for months and take even more time to get back just to where you were. Offsite SEO is the process of building back links to your site. I cant stress the amount of so called SEO experts who get their clients sandboxed by building to many links at once. SEO is the art of improve organic search engine rankings so if you start a site today and in one week you have 250 back links, Google and other search engines will think twice about how natural you have actually acquired those links. Best practice would be 5 dofollow links per day. Patience - I add patience to the blue print because its where most web masters and so called SEO experts fail. You can't control whether the owner of that directory or site you added links to have approved and added your link to their site and second no one has control over when a search engine will scan that website page and see your link. So patience is stressed for anyone working with a SEO company. The bottom line is search engine optimization is the best option for ROI but using a mix of search engine marketing is always recommended. Make sure any SEO firm you decide to go with can provide you with examples of sites they have worked on and can prove their success. So improve those rankings and beat your competition. .
