初嘗規范甜-ISD規范淺談 - 網頁設計

http://webdesign.zoapcon.com

QQ空間完整的portal線上規范、空間模板規范,以及細節到空間loading、掛件制作的規范;

QQ音樂針對portal和miniportal的線上規范;

QQ秀改版后的新portal線上規范;

以及QQ會員改版后整理出的一套PPT格式的設計規范;

A New Report Shows Board- Level Appointments Rise Says Executive Search And Executive Recruitment - recruitment agencies

recruitment agencies

According to a new survey the number of board-level appointments with packages in excess of 200,000 made by employers using retained headhunters rose by 4.5% over the past 12 months. The study also highlighted that the amount of money employers paid for filling such positions increased by 21.7%, as employers looked to fill top positions ahead of an economic recovery.

Employers in healthcare, financial services, consumer and media sectors faced the biggest increases, while those in the industrial, telecoms and technology, and professional services sectors also contributed to the increased spend at this level. However, the cost of hiring in the 100,000 to 200,000 bracket fell by 2%, despite a 5% growth in the number of assignments. At this level, fees only rose in the industrial market, healthcare and consumer sectors, with financial and professional services down, according to the study, says Novo Executive Search and Selection, experts in executive search and executive recruitment.

The strong growth rates at board and leadership level contrast starkly with low or negative growth below 200,000 in all other sectors except industrial. This suggests that the salary level of assignments at which executive search is most valuable to clients is moving to a new, higher base level. Fees derived by retained headhunters for public sector and government placements worth between 100,000 and 200,000 fell, those worth more than 200,000 also decreased. Overall, the number of executive search assignments rose by 5.3% over the last 12 months and the net fee income for retained headhunters grew by an average of 17.7%, or 15% on a like-for-like basis. This took the sector into positive territory for the first time since 2008. Losing top talent is executives' greatest concern, cited by 59% of those surveyed, with 21% of those in the private sector planning to offer pay rises to retain staff. • A Monthly Survey Shows a Slowdown in Recruitment Rates But Good News For Recruitment Agencies

A Monthly Survey Shows a Slowdown in Recruitment Rates But Good News For Recruitment Agencies - recruitment agencies

recruitment agencies

Latest monthly recruitment totals published by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation with KPMG show a significant slowdown in the rate of both temporary and permanent appointments in September 2011.

As concerns continue to rise about the continued economic uncertainty, particularly in the Eurozone and America, and growth remains flat this is perhaps no great surprise.

For employees facing the loss of their jobs in the public sector as well as the private sector, for new graduates and school leavers looking for their first jobs and for everyone struggling to deal with austerity measures and rising energy and food prices the statistics can only add to the pressure they are under.

The survey revealed that September had seen the slowest increases in permanent placements and temporary billings since August 2009, the weakest rise in job vacancies for almost two years, that pay pressures remain muted and there had been a stronger improvement in candidate availability.

Growth of short-term staff availability was at a seven-month high and the fear is that it will not be long before job availability ceases to expand, at however slow a rate, and begins to contract.

REC chief executive Kevin Green commented that the survey results emphasised employers' diminishing confidence in the economic future. He added that this was exacerbated by weak consumer confidence, leading to people staying in their current role rather than changing jobs.

Although new jobs continue to be created in the private sector they are nowhere near the level to compensate for the loss of public sector jobs and also are affecting young job seekers disproportionately.

He called for a National Insurance holiday as a means of encouraging small and medium-sized companies to take on young people and for the Bank of England to resume quantitative easing to help kick start the economy.

Another REC survey provided a ray of optimism for those in the professional recruitment industry, however. It found that 93 per cent of clients are satisfied or very satisfied with the performance of the recruitment agencies they use and only three per cent of employers are dissatisfied.

This suggests that job seekers should not give up hope, but seek to improve the odds in their favour by using the services of a professional recruitment agency.

To get a foot in the door it is worth being open to both contract and temporary work, both of which tend to be most widely available via the agencies, and to starting off in an administrative, back office, PA or a clerical role regardless of their qualifications.

Good specialist agencies tend to have established, long term relations with the employers who are their clients as well as the ability to provide advice and guidance to candidates on their presentation of themselves and their CVs, all of which can help job seekers in their search.

  • A Look at Different Construction Industry Jobs

A Look at Different Construction Industry Jobs - recruitment agencies

recruitment agencies

Make no mistake about it, the variety of construction industry jobs open to interested applicants can be mind boggling. The country's construction sector is very broad; no longer is it limited to a class of skilled labourers who handle physical work. Instead, construction industry jobs today are scattered into specialized areas, with each group of workers assigned to handle specific responsibilities and duties. Gone are the days of the majority of construction workers coming straight out of high school as well. These days, most construction industry jobs call for extensive educational backgrounds and training.

One thing that hasn't changed though is the danger associated with the construction industry. Indeed, many construction jobs involve a significant level of danger, including working from heights, operating heavy machinery, handling hazardous materials, working with electricity and more. Although the leaps and bounds made in the health and safety aspect of the construction the sector are laudable, it's hard to deny that the industry can still be dangerous. In fact, statistics show that more than 1,000 construction employees fall victim to accidents in the workplace. This is why extensive training and experience is often required from job applicants.

Here's a look at the different construction industry jobs you will see at any construction recruitment agency.

Bricklayers

Although it may sound like a simple task, bricklaying is one of the most crucial jobs in any construction project. A high degree of skill is required to handle this responsibility, as the proper laying of bricks is crucial to the structural integrity of a building.

Metal Worker

Metal workers are tasked with the construction, maintenance and repair of various metal materials such as steel rods, steel sheets and metal hollow tubes. Metal workers must be knowledgeable in welding and assembling metal products-something which requires years of experience to do correctly.

Painters

Although it may sound simple, painting can be very difficult, especially when specific paints or large projects are involved. Technology has also changed the tools and equipment used in painting-it's no longer just about knowing how to use a paintbrush and mixing paints.

Construction managers

Considered as the leader of a construction team, construction managers posses years of experience in the industry, and are knowledgeable in almost all aspects of construction. Most managers have worked their way to the top, giving them valuable insight into the difficulties of those working under them.

Instead, construction industry jobs today are scattered into specialized areas, with each group of workers assigned to handle specific responsibilities and duties.

  • A List of Tough Job Interview Questions For Tough Times

A List of Tough Job Interview Questions For Tough Times - recruitment agencies

recruitment agencies

While some tough job interview questions take us off guard, others we can see coming a mile away. How we answer job interview questions will make the difference between getting and not getting the job. We all have questions that we'd rather not be asked during an interview. But how can one prepare completely for a tough interview?

The answer to this question really comes down to intense preparatory work. In a nutshell, do your homework. Make sure that you know your resume thoroughly and expect questions to come from your work history. Also, expect questions about the company you want to work for and the type of future you want in that company, and finally, expect questions about you. You should use several large lists of questions in preparation for the interview. Below, you will find a list of tough job interview questions, which should be helpful in preparation for the job interview.

While the questions below are pretty standard and can be expected at most job interviews, you should also create your own questions. In creating your questions in preparation for an interview, you really need to sit down and think through what you would ask if you were the interviewer. Remember that the person interviewing you has a job to do as well. If you can provide a good answer to most of the questions below, and to the questions you have created, you have increased the probability of obtaining the job you are seeking.

Obviously during a job interview, regardless of your personality, you need to be congenial and polite. Try not to appear nervous as well. Most importantly, try to appear confident in yourself but not to the point of appearing cocky. Remember, the interviewer is not only trying to select the best candidate for the job, they also want to be sure that you will be compatible with other employees you will be working with. Also, remember that the interviewer is trying their best to find any red flags that may be present in your past work history.

The following is a list of questions you can expect at most job interviews. You most likely will not be asked all of these questions, but you can expect some of them. Many of these questions come from About.com, and some were created by our staff.

Job Interview Questions: About the New Job and the Company

What interests you about this job?

Why do you want this job?

What applicable attributes or experience do you have?

Are you overqualified for this job?

What can you do for this company?

What do you know about this company?

Why do you want to work here?

What challenges are you looking for in a position?

What can you contribute to this company?

Are you willing to travel?

Is there anything I haven't told you about the job or company that you would like to know?

Job Interview Questions: The Future

What are you looking for in your next job?

What are your career goals for the next five years and ten years?

How do you plan to achieve those goals?

How long would you like to stay with our company and why?

What are your salary requirements - both short-term and long-term?

What will you do if you don't get this position?

Once again, the key to a successful job interview is preparation. When you are completely prepared, you will tend to be less nervous. Of course, it is highly likely you will be presented with a question or two that you did not expect. This is why preparation also entails having the knowledge base that you can expect the interviewer will tap into.

Here I am not talking about the knowledge needed to do the job. That should be a given anyway, otherwise you would have not been asked to be at the interview. Here I am talking about knowing yourself and your attitudes, and being able to present your attitudes in a way the interviewer can appreciate. It does not hurt to let the interviewer know what really makes you tick, if the interview goes in that direction.

Make sure that you display an enthusiastic attitude. Make sure you present to the interviewer a willingness to learn and a desire to advance in the company you are about to potentially work for. You do not want to appear as if you are lacking seriousness and definitely do not appear cavalier. Try to appear enthusiastic and positive in a mature and professional way. If you are naturally an enthusiastic and positive type of person, then half the battle is won. The point is to be your self, but try to present the best of who you are.

Remember this, many employers prefer a less educated candidate with fewer credentials who is bright and willing to learn, over one who is more prepared but lacks the proper attitude. A good example of this is the entrepreneur who wants to launch a new business. For him or her who is starting a new venture, hiring someone who is bright and has the right attitude is extremely important. More important then previous education. In this case, the entrepreneur is looking for someone who is not afraid to take risks and is very much goal oriented. Here it is very important that you display to the interviewer your ability to work as part of a team. The 9 to 5 type worker who expects to work basically the same hours 5 days a week would not fit well here. And the interviewer needs to know this.

To conclude, in the end, most interviewers are looking for the right attitude for the job they are trying to fill. If you also have the right credentials along with the right attitude, then your chances are increased tremendously. If you can answer most of the above questions, display an enthusiastic attitude, and present yourself in the best possible way, this should result in you obtaining the job you are seeking.
