Much debates nowadays; most especially between businesses and establishments willing to venture into online advertising and marketing is whether to hire an SEO Company or a Freelancer. The confusion for this is quite simple, as you can see, both can do link building and article submission service, and both, most of the time, have the credentials in order to drive more traffic to any given website, most especially if the freelancer has been working and has had a lot of experience under his/her belt. However, there are still a lot of differences between an SEO Company and a Freelancer and here are some of them.

? Both offer the same types of services. Both do link building and article submission service, and may provide good and quality service. The only problem is, there is a huge tendency that freelancers won't be able to deliver as expected, as freelancers don't have standards and most of the time, don't train. They only rely on your standards, which means, they don't work their best, unlike in most SEO Companies wherein the writers and those that are included in the team have standards to follow and their articles are edited and dissected thoroughly to make sure that they are effective in delivering what a client wants and deeds.

? Freelancers are freelancers and no matter how good they may be, they'll still be freelancers. Now, what does that mean? This simply just manes that they won't be able to work on huge projects most of the time, considering that most freelancing individuals and teams lack the tools, time and work force in order to work on something that's on a huge scale.

? It is a given that most freelancers will and do have experience in doing SEO-related jobs, but, not all will be able to deliver as promised and as expected. Also, there is no sure way to ensure that a freelancer will be able to deliver, as most don't have portfolios, and for those that do, their portfolios are not that good, as compared to working with companies wherein those who write are often different from those who edit them, that submit them, which makes their work more organized and much cleaner compared to freelancers.

Given that they are freelancers, they won't be able to work full-time on any given project and even so, they don't follow a strict rule when it comes to time as most are just self-enforced which can easily be bypassed, unlike in companies wherein writers are required to submit something on a certain day, and failure to do so will result into a form of punishment or sanction.

? Unfortunately for freelance fans out there, SEO Companies are just more reliable when it comes to quality and quantity. They can work on a lot of projects at the same time, without compromising the quality of their products and their results are often better and more guaranteed. The only problem is, SEO Companies are generally more expensive than freelancers, so, you'll have to keep that in mind.
